As a teenager in the Albany area, I had that one job that I’ll never forget. It was a great job too: It allowed me to pay my bills, buy a few things I shouldn’t have 
and also fed me day in and out. It also taught me how to deal with the public in a customer service setting, which was some of the best training I have ever received.
Like many jobs, once you get good at dealing with the public, you also get really good at your job. However, out of the year or so that I worked at a local sub shop- I can honestly say:
‘Making a sub in less than a minute was something I might have tried, but I can guarantee, it wasn’t purrty’
