TIME Magazine has unveiled its annual Most Influential People list, which is comprised of five separate categories: Artists, Leaders, Pioneers, Titans and Icons.
While the list itself isn't surprising -- media mainstays like Jennifer Lawrence, Jay-Z, Lena Dunham and Frank Ocean all landed spots -- what was intriguing is what other notable people wrote about them.
After returning from their romantic anniversary vacay in Cuba (which had everyone up in arms), seems Jay-Z now has plans to buy wife Beyonce her own island.
Because when you're Jay-Z and have a $227,000 American Express balance, picking up some flowers at the gas station last-minute just isn't going to cut it.
Add Congressional investigations to Jay-Z's list of '99 Problems.' Hov and Beyonce's recent controversial Cuba trip is now being scrutinized not only by lobbyists, by also Congress to make sure it wasn't a tourist excursion -- which aren't permitted due to continued diplomatic strains with the Communist country.
Jay-Z loves Cuban cigars and was enjoying them while he and his lovely wife Beyonce were in Cuba this week. The power couple are celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary and the two look as in love as ever. They were mobbed by fans at La Guarida, a popular Havana restaurant, and required police assistance to keep the admirers at a safe distance.
Since Jay-Z and wife Beyonce don't have enough on their plates -- what with being Grammy-winning recording artists, singing for presidents, going on tour with Justin Timberlake and being the face of clothing lines -- Jay-Z has now teamed up with a sports agency to represent the best of the best.

JAY-Z: The same thing we do every night, B. Plot our next move toward world domination.

It hardly seems possible, but the grapevine is just sure that new mommy and daddy Beyonce and Jay-Z spent upwards of $200,000 to celebrate the first birthday of their adorable and questionably-named bundle of joy, Blue Ivy.
We don’t want to believe it because all we got for our first birthday was a face full of cheap frosting, but perhaps the rumors don’t lie.
Celebs, by virtue of their gigs, have tons of fame and fortune, but many of them never forget to show their support of the less fortunate. DoSomething.Org has named its Top 20 list of Celebs Gone Good for 2012, with Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus topping the list of the most charitable celebs. Fellow pop stars like Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Pink and more were also recognized.
