Spring is every so slowly starting to heat up in Massachusetts. Or, at least more than it has been recently. With warmer temps in store for the latter Spring months, and upcoming Summer, here are some spots across the Bay State that are typically warmer than others. So, what are the warmest cities and towns in Massachusetts traditionally?

Pronunciation is important! Especially in Massachusetts! No one ever wants to mispronounce anything, ever. It can totally bring a conversation to a halt. Typically, before you even attempt to pronounce something that you're not exactly sure about, the best thing to do is ask someone else. Or maybe just Google it, duh! It just so happens that Massachusetts has more than a few cities and towns that are mispronounced quite often.

Living in Upstate New York has its benefits, especially during the winter months. A new study was done that ranks the best cities in the United States for winter holiday destinations. Three in Upstate New York finished in the top fifty.

So what about towns and cities right here in the Capital District? Well, they might not be as funny as Sugar Tit or Hell, but it's still pretty interesting how our local cities got their names.

It's not the first time the Capital Region has landed on this list, but still, yikes. There seems to be a surge in population north of the Twin Bridges. Saratoga County has boasted most of the growth in population in the last eight years. Two towns specifically had the most in New York state.

Upstate New York farther north than just the Capital Region can be quite serene on a winter morning. Are we home to one of the best winter towns?

This may be somewhat of a curve ball for some, not the town that first comes to mind when you think of wealthy small towns.

Some of my favorite descriptions of the parts of the city include: "Over Priced Toll Road", "Going Down Hill Quick", and "Run Down Beat Up Decrepit Former Main Drag" ...

Being burglarized sucks, big time. A whole week can be ruined. Luckily for us in the Capital Region there is a city in our midst where it happens pretty often.

There are some dangerous places to live in the USA but which is the one with the highest crime rate?  You might want to steer clear.
