President Barack Obama, our 44th president, has been sworn in for his second term, and the inauguration was exactly the star-studded occasion we've come to expect from our celeb-popular Commander-in-Chief.
Case in point: Musical performances included James Taylor singing 'America the Beautiful,' followed by Kelly Clarkson's rendition of 'America (My Country 'Tis of Thee),' and Beyonce wrapping things up with 'The Star-Spangled Banner.'

Anyway, Monday's Presidential Inauguration was nothing shy of a major event for our country -- Barack Obama, our nation’s first African-American president, was sworn in on Martin Luther King Jr. Day using MLK’s own bible, after which he gave an inspiring speech inclusive of many still-downtrodden groups and told us we have work to do to ensure freedom for all Americans.

Lady Gaga is getting in on the inaugural fun. What, you didn't think she'd let all of her peers celebrate the swearing in of the president without her, did you? The Mother Monster will reportedly perform at President Barack Obama's second inauguration at a private staff ball on Tuesday, Jan. 22.
