Christmas morning is awesome, especially with little ones in the house. They're all like 'yay, it's Christmas, let's open everything' all excited and what not. It's pretty cool as a parent too: that excitement is written all over their face, which is pretty awesome to see, right?

I'm up the creek I tell ya. I have a ton of wrapping paper, gifts are all in (online shopping is awesome) name tags, groceries- I tell ya, I'm ready for Santa's arrival. Then of course, I'm sitting here feeling super confident like 'hey ho, a few days before the big day and guess who's sitting pretty?'- Turns out, not this guy! I forgot one of the most essential items needed for Xmas.

I was hanging with a buddy the other night and saw the best commercial ever. It was so great it made me shake my head in amazement. I'm serious, I couldn't believe what I was watching. The excitement was unbearable to be honest. I could only imagine a 10 yr-old kid looking at their parents screaming: 'I have to have that for Christmas'. Seriously, it was that riveting.

Ahhh, the infamous 'Red Kettle'. I know you know what I'm talking about. They are in front of every shopping plaza (most of them) along with a Salvation Army bell ringer. In case you aren't familiar with the process. As you're walking in or leaving said shopping center you drop some lose change or dollar bills in the kettle and viola, the Salvation Army uses your donations to help the less fortunate. We're on the same page?

Maybe this is a guy thing, but I can't wrap a Xmas gift to save my life. I mean, I can wrap it, but it's not pretty and I'm pretty sure I use way too much wrapping paper and scotch tape. My poor kid has to literally ask for help because this guy goes nutty over wrapping and taping. I mean listen, I have to cover up the rips and what not ;-)
