I'm not sure the average sports fan here in the Capital Region knows how good NBA player and former Shen star, Kevin Huerter, really is.
Last year, the 24-year-old was traded from the Atlanta Hawks to the Sacramento Kings. As a result, we see fewer of Huerter's games on TV, but trust me, the boy is ballin' and last night came some exciting news about the rising sharpshooter from the Capital Region
Check your tickets! There was another Take 5 winning ticket sold. This time it was purchased at a Stewart's Shop in Saratoga County. That winner is cashing in a ticket worth $19,881.
The Powerball and the Mega Millions jackpots have been high but let's not forget that with just one scratch-off ticket, you could become a millionaire. According to the New York Lottery, these are the scratch-off games that still have jackpots to be won to make you an instant millionaire.

The New York Lottery's Take 5 drawing has been a lucky game for a bunch of Capital Region players in the last few weeks. There were two winners at area Saratoga County Stewart's Shops totaling over eighty thousand dollars in the last week. Add another winner to the list. This time in Albany.
An Upstate NY family will be appearing on the hit game show Family Feud this month!
A second family from Upstate New York is ready to tussle on TV for a nationwide audience to enjoy after announcing the date(s) they're scheduled to appear on The Family Feud...
Even though there was no grand prize winner in last night's Mega Millions drawing, someone in the Capital Region is waking up a little bit richer this morning. There were two second-place tickets sold in New York state and one in the Capital Region.
Many love a good calzone. Those of us that enjoy the pizza cousin, have probably had some really good ones and some incredibly bad ones. The dough, the sauce, the fillers and/or the cheese can each make-or-brake the half-moon shaped crusty fold-over. I have to admit, when I first read that the winner of the "World Calzone Championship" was made in New York, I immediately thought "Brooklyn, maybe Manhattan." I should really start thinking west instead of south.
