Mike Adams
Hey, I'm Mike - I keep you company with Today's Best Mix all afternoon. Say hello! 518-476-1057 - and if you're curious about me, check out my full bio.
Tis the season to help the less fortunate and let me just say- here in the Albany area we are going above and beyond. Like, 5 million pounds 'above and beyond'.
So I just found this video of someone taking a ride through Washington Park in Albany this past Saturday (12-3-12). I know I know- you're like 'big deal, dude is driving through the park, what do I care?'- Well here's the deal, Capital City Lights in the Park has started, the video is awesome (well produced) and there was snow on the ground. Good enough?
Another day brings another look into the Albany area and our very own 'stars'. From 'America's Next Top Model' and Scotia's Laura Lafrate bringing home a second place finish to Cambridge's own Laura James, a year later, bringing home the coveted title: 'America's Next Top Model College Edition'. Yes, we definitely have our own little click of stars around here and for now, that isn't going to change.
Four teens cruising up the Northway Saturday night where involved in a major accident with two of the teens, both Clifton Park residents, losing their lives in a tragic crash that could send the accused to jail for a very long time.
Talk about going above and beyond! So, this man, who knows a board member at the Troy Boys and Girls Club, offered to help renovate the club by making a $10,000 donation. Tis the season give right? It gets better.
