A press conference was held Tuesday morning (4/16) which cleared up some confusion regarding earlier reports of there being other devices, and where the FBI is in their investigation. We continue to send our prayers and thoughts to the victims and their families. Here is a recap of the press conference:
There have been two confirmed bombs detonated near the finish line of the Boston Marathon. We are updating this post as new information comes in. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of the victims.

UPDATE at 7:30 PM: There are reports that a mother and daughter have been found strangled in the home. The initial call was to the fire department for a structure fire which was quickly put out when they arrived.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports that movie critic Roger Ebert has died at age 70. Ebert reviewed movies for the Chicago Sun-Times for 46 years and on television for 31 years. He lost his lower jaw in a fight with cancer but recovered and returned to reviewing movies. He just days ago announced that he would be taking a leave to fight the cancer that had returned.
If you looked at Google Maps today and wondered why they offering 'treasure' map mode, take a glace at the calendar and you'll notice that it is April 1st. We started looking around the Albany area for buried treasure but we didn't find much of anything.
However there were some other fun features with the joke maps.
Friday night (3/22/2013) Twitter was lit up with reports of a meteor in the sky above Albany - and this morning (3/23)several meteorological societies and groups are confirming in fact that a meteor did pass through the sky, likely traveling southwest from Massachusetts over Albany, and toward Maryland and points south. There were even reports from Florida and Canada! Check out some videos captured on a dashcam!
